All of our rooms have been recently refurbished allowing us to provide high quality bedrooms in a contemporary style. At Mount Rooms Hotel, you will be able to enjoy extra comfortable bedding, relax in front of a 32"/40" flat screen TV or work on your laptop making use of our complimentary, fast Wi-Fi.

Small Double, Double Room, Family Room, Twin Room, Triple Room and King Room.

We also have 3 suites in our newly built Cottage.

About us

Having been an established hotel for many years and being located within the heart of Barry, surrounded by so much history it was realised that the landmark hotel was something much desired, and the facilities of the hotel were being missed.
After being empty for nearly two years, and with much love and attention required, investment has been put back into the iconic hotel to create Mount Rooms Hotel.

Strategically located just 7 minutes from Cardiff Airport, and a 5-minute walk from Barry train station – meaning the vibrant City of Cardiff is just 15 minutes away.

Facilities include a 150 capacity function room equipped with a bar and extra seating areas which is perfect for weddings and all types of functions. A smaller elegant function room perfect for business meetings, seminars or more intimate functions and gym facilities, bar and bistro.
